Well, AI-generated art cannot be copyrighted

A federal Judge Beryl A. Howell ruled that art made by AI can't be copyrighted.

As per Hollywood Reporter, Stephen Thaler tried to get a copyright for an image his AI created but was denied. Stephen argued against the decision, but Judge Howell said only humans can get copyrights. She did mention that AI's role in art will bring up new issues in the future.

While Thaler's lawyer plans to appeal the decision, the US Copyright Office supports Judge Howell's verdict.
